Comment installer le Snow Mod de GTA IV ?
Le Snow Mod est sans aucun doute l'un des mods les plus célèbres jamais créés pour GTA IV. Il a pour effet de convertir toute la ville de Liberty City avec de la neige.
Malheureusement, cela a un prix puisque le mod pèse environ 4Go et il nécessite une installation fastidieuse et délicate.
Nous vous proposons donc ce petit tutorial qui récapitule toutes les étapes nécessaires à l'installation du GTA IV Snow Mod.
Vous pouvez télécharger le Snow Mod depuis cette page. Une fois l'archive de 4Go téléchargée, extrayez-la avec Winrar ou un logiciel similaire.
Effectuez une sauvegarde des fichiers principaux du jeuEn effet, le mod comprend des centaines de fichiers et il est important de faire une sauvegarde des fichiers originaux de manière à pouvoir désinstaller le mod sans devoir réinstaller tout le jeu.
Copiez les répertoires "common" et "pc" de l'archiveVous devez copier ces deux répertoires dans le dossier principal du jeu (Programmes/Rockstar Games/GTA IV)
Remplacez les fichiers avec SparkIVTéléchargez SparkIV disponible à cette adresse puis faites "Open" et trouvez le fichier resident.rpf présent dans "pc/audio/sfx", faites "Importer" et remplacez-le en sélectionnant le fichier resident.rpf présent dans l'archive du mod. Faites "Save".
Faites "Browse" puis allez dans "pc/textures". Importez les fichiers "fx_rain" et "fxprojtex" de l'archive et faites "Save".
Modifiez les comportements des véhiculesEn option, vous pouvez modifier le comportement des véhicules pour plus de réalisme. Pour cela, allez dans le répertoire "common/data/materials" du répertoire et faites votre choix parmi les différents comportements. Renommez le fichier de votre choix par "materials.dat" et copiez-le dans le répertoire "common/data/materials" de GTA IV
